Terms & Conditions
Enrolment conditions, payment terms, and our cancellation and refund policy for all Padi Finance programmes.
LAST UPDATED: 12 MARCH 2025
Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in any Padi Finance programme. By submitting an enrolment enquiry or completing payment, you agree to the conditions set out below.
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Padi Finance ("we", "us", "our") and any individual ("you", "participant") who enrols in, or enquires about, one of our educational programmes. Padi Finance is a financial education provider operating in Singapore with offices at 51 Bras Basah Road, #15-02, Singapore 189554.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
2. Our Programmes
Padi Finance currently offers the following programmes:
- Cultivating a Household Financial Plan — five weeks, S$175 per participant
- A Patient Introduction to Investing — nine weeks, S$290 per participant
- Retirement Readiness Review — seven weeks, S$420 per participant
Programme fees, durations, and cohort dates are subject to change. The details confirmed at the time of enrolment confirmation are binding for that cohort.
All programmes are delivered in English in small-cohort, in-person format at our Singapore premises unless otherwise specified in your enrolment confirmation. We reserve the right to conduct individual sessions remotely in exceptional circumstances, with reasonable advance notice to participants.
3. Enrolment
Enrolment in a programme is complete when:
- You have submitted an enrolment enquiry and received a written confirmation from Padi Finance, and
- Full payment of the programme fee has been received by us
Places in each cohort are limited. Submission of an enquiry does not reserve a place. A place is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
We reserve the right to decline an enrolment at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be returned in full.
4. Payment
Programme fees are payable in Singapore dollars. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in your enrolment communication. Fees must be paid in full before the programme commences unless a separate written arrangement has been made.
All quoted fees are inclusive of materials and workbooks provided during the programme. They do not include travel, meals, or any external resources you choose to purchase independently.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. Our refund policy is as follows:
| Cancellation Timing | Outcome |
|---|---|
| 7 or more days before the programme start date | Full refund of programme fee |
| Within 7 days of the programme start date | Programme credit equal to the fee paid, valid for 12 months |
| After the programme has commenced | No refund; partial credit may be considered at our discretion |
To request a cancellation, please contact us in writing at [email protected]. The date of your written request will determine which policy applies.
Programme credits are non-transferable and may be applied only to Padi Finance programmes. Credits have no cash value and will not be refunded upon expiry.
6. Programme Cancellation by Padi Finance
In the event that Padi Finance must cancel a scheduled cohort for any reason, enrolled participants will be offered either:
- A full refund of the programme fee, or
- Transfer to the next available cohort for the same programme
We will provide as much advance notice as possible in such circumstances. We are not liable for any indirect costs incurred by participants in connection with a cancelled cohort, including travel or accommodation.
7. Attendance and Participation
We ask that participants attend all scheduled sessions, as the small-cohort format depends on consistent group engagement. If you are unable to attend a session, please inform us in advance.
We cannot guarantee that missed sessions can be made up. Programme materials will be provided regardless of attendance. Attendance records are maintained for administrative purposes only and are not shared externally.
8. Programme Materials
Workbook materials and session documents provided during a programme are for your personal use. They are the intellectual property of Padi Finance and may not be reproduced, distributed, or made available to third parties without our written consent.
Personal summary documents prepared as part of specific programmes are yours to retain and use as you see fit.
9. Nature of Our Programmes
Padi Finance is an education provider. Our programmes provide general financial education for adults and are not a substitute for personalised financial advice. Nothing communicated during our programmes, in our materials, or on our website constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product or instrument.
If you require advice tailored to your individual financial situation, we encourage you to consult a licensed financial adviser.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Padi Finance's liability to any participant in connection with a programme is limited to the programme fee paid for that cohort. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from participation in or reliance on our programmes.
11. Personal Data
The personal data you provide in connection with enrolment is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment confirmation applies to your participation in that cohort. Future cohorts are subject to the version current at the time of enrolment.
