What you get from a course built for your stage of life

Not every financial education option is designed with the same care and specificity. Here is how our approach differs.

Six things that consistently matter to our participants

These are the aspects of our programmes that participants most frequently mention when describing their experience to others.

Cohorts of eight to twelve

Small enough that every participant can ask a question without the session running over. Large enough that discussions have real variety of perspective.

Built for Singapore

CPF mechanics, SRS rules, SGX instruments, and Singapore tax considerations are covered as primary content — not as an afterthought appended to overseas material.

Pace set for working adults

One session per week, each between ninety minutes and two hours. Designed to be manageable alongside full-time employment and family commitments.

Practical documentation

Every participant leaves with a personal summary document — a concrete record of the thinking done, usable as a reference or a starting point for family conversations.

No product sales

We are an education provider only. No insurance, investment, or banking products are sold through any of our programmes. Our instructors receive no commission of any kind.

Kept current annually

Materials are reviewed before each year's first cohort to reflect changes in CPF rules, tax legislation, and relevant regulations. What you learn reflects today's environment.

A closer look at what each benefit means in practice

Professional expertise

Our instructors have backgrounds in financial education, CPF planning, equity research, and retirement preparation. Each course is taught by the person who designed it — not by a rotating roster of facilitators.

Questions that go beyond the course scope are acknowledged honestly, not deflected with vague generalities. Where a question requires personalised advice, we say so clearly and explain why we are not the right source for that answer.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Consistent teaching quality across all cohorts
Questions answered by the person with subject expertise
Honest acknowledgement of what education can and cannot cover

Curriculum design and materials

Each programme has a printed workbook designed to support learning rather than replace it. Participants write in these, record their own figures, and work through exercises during and between sessions.

The personal summary document produced at the end of each course is written by the participant — not generated by the instructor. It reflects the participant's actual situation and thinking, not a generic template.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Materials you can refer back to over coming years
A summary document reflecting your own situation
No requirement to remember — you have it in writing

Discussion quality

Small groups of similarly-aged participants produce a different quality of conversation than mixed-cohort courses. Questions about CPF contribution rates for someone in their late forties, or about insurance coverage at fifty-five, are not treated as edge cases.

Participants frequently describe the discussion portions as among the most valuable parts of the programme — not the formal instruction, but the questions asked by their peers.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Learning from peers at a similar life stage
Questions relevant to your circumstances are common, not unusual
Honest discussion is encouraged, not redirected

Pricing and what is included

Course fees cover all sessions, printed workbook materials, and the personal summary document. There are no additional charges for materials, and no upselling of further products or services within the programme.

Fees range from S$175 for the five-week introductory course to S$420 for the seven-week Retirement Readiness Review. Couples attending the same cohort are each enrolled separately — contact us for details about scheduling within the same cohort.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

No unexpected add-on charges
All materials included in the stated fee
Clear refund terms available before you commit

Three features not commonly found elsewhere

01

The cohort model

Participants proceed through the programme together, at the same pace, over the full duration. This is not a drop-in class. The cohort model means each session builds on the previous one, and the discussion deepens over weeks.

02

The workbook as a tool, not a souvenir

Course workbooks are designed for active use — with space to record actual figures, note questions, and complete exercises. Participants report referring to them months and years after their cohort concludes.

03

Education without a product agenda

The separation between education and product sales is structural, not just a stated policy. No Padi Finance instructor holds a licence to sell financial products. There is no financial incentive to recommend any specific course of action.
